Rosemary Akartuna was born and raised in New York City and is a product of the NYC public school system. She attended Adelphi University where she majored in Educational Administration and Supervision as well as Bilingual Spanish Special Education. She learned excellent communication skills as a result of pursuing a teaching career in the Spanish language spanning 35 years while serving diverse school communities in the metropolitan area.
